Johnna Bearden is a professional game designer with 15+ years in the industry working on titles such as Ghostbusters the Video Game, Star Wars Kinect, The Untitled Game, Island Time VR, War Remains, Knights of the Old Republic Remake, InfestStation and several other unannounced projects.
Johnna has served as both a designer and lead on several teams and is capable of interfacing between several disciplines on a team including documentation, prototyping, art production, sound design, UI/UX, and engine scripting.
Before entering the game development field, Johnna also worked in the e-commerce and web development industry. Johnna also owned and operated a LAN center business offering a training facility for e-sports competitors in the DFW area.
Johnna has a MIS degree in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma and a Master’s degree in Game and Interactive Technology from the Guildhall at SMU.
Johnna likes to help aspiring high school students by offering classroom education and career planning pertaining to the IT industry with a focus on game development. Johnna has also given back her time through wonderful organizations such as St. Jude and Make-A-Wish.
