My first project in the games industry. I worked as a level designer and created three different levels for the game including one boss encounter.
Tasks for these levels included writing documentation, creating layouts, implementing cinematics, creating puzzles, and level scripting.
I was quickly recognized as a competent designer who could fill lots of roles on the team which later led into UI design and pre-production tasks for Kinect Star Wars.
This project used a lot of new tech and we were required to not only work on gameplay design from a traditional scenario but also from what could be possible with the Kinect system as it was being developed.
I served multiple roles on this project as a game designer working on systems design for Rancor, rhythm designer for the dance mode, and also as a level designer on the Jedi mode.
